Junfei Ma Ph.D.

I received my B.S. degree from Qingdao Agriculture University, Shandong, China and my Ph.D. degree from Mississippi State University. I am working on host-viroid interactions in our lab. I hope to continue research in plant virology as my career goal.

Jie Hao Ph.D.

I received my  Ph.D. degree from China Agriculture University. I am interested in understanding the signaling and gene expression underlying viroid pathogenesis.

I graduated from University of Peradeniya, Sri Lanka with Biology special degree. My major is biology, and my research interests are Biochemistry, Molecular Biology and Plant pathology. 

Yunhan Wang 

(Ph.D. student; Rotation during Spring semester, 2024)

I am currently a Ph.D. Student in Plant Molecular and Cellular Biology program at University of Florida. I had my undergraduate study in the joint program, so I received my B.Sc. in Forest Science from the University of British Columbia (Canda), and my Bachelor of Agriculture degree in Forestry from Nanjing Forestry University (China) together in 2023.
